A container of 25,000 kilos!

Radio tam-tam does its job. Now that our surgical center is open, our team expects an influx of patients hoping for vital surgery. That is why we are sending an extra sea container to Beni with medical material!

What fits in such a sea container?

A wind and watertight sea container is ideal for shipping valuable goods. It offers space for approximately 75m³ of medical goods that may weigh more than 25,000 kilograms in total. This is mainly medication and consumables (syringes, bandages, gloves, etc.). But also larger pieces such as anesthesia equipment, hospital beds, cupboards, racks …

From A(ntwerp) to B(eni)

The journey of our sea container starts in the port of Antwerp on an impressive cargo ship. Via the English Channel and the Atlantic Ocean we continue to the Mediterranean Sea. Along the coast of Egypt we reach the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden. We moor in Mombasa (Kenya). From there it continues overland, by truck, right through Uganda. After a journey of about 75 days, the container reaches the center in Beni!

Thank you 25,000 times!
